ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Process loan applications and gather all financial credit information needed to evaluate a loan request.
Prepare loan presentations for submission to committees for approval.
Review loan agreements to ensure that they are complete and accurate according to policy.
Do appropriate credit investigations and analysis.
Maintain and service existing portfolio.
Solicit and review applications for commercial loan customers through existing portfolio and new business development.
Oversee distribution of existing portfolio and new loan requests.
Supervise and train junior loan officers and branch managers.
Grade and evaluate customers to determine loan quality of portfolio.
Inform management of emerging and existing problem loans.
Work with legal counsel to work out major accounts with guidance from Special Assets Committee.
Maintain current financial information, correspondence, and documentation in credit files.
SKILLS & ABILITIES Education:
Bachelor's Degree (four year college or university)
Experience:
One to two years related experience Computer Skills Microsoft Windows including Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
Jack Henry system for Commercial Lending skills and applications.
Certificates & Licenses Commercial Lender Certification Other Requirements May have to travel to customer sites to gain solid customer relationships.
Will be required to complete online banking training courses.
